Modern Glass Design was established in 2010. With experience in residential and commercial frameless glass systems, we pride ourselves on quality, service and communication. Modern Glass design specialises in frameless glass applications such as glass balustrades, pool fences, shower screens, splashbacks and mirrors.
Modern Glass Design has seen the use of frameless glass in balustrading and pool fencing become more popular with builders, landscapers and home owners. The director has worked on many building projects, both residential and commercial and uses only the highest grade hardware available, with zero sacrifice on quality and aesthetics.
From balustrades and pool fences to internal staircases and mirrored walls, glass creates a modern and sophisticated feel whilst providing a practical solution to any area.

Pool Fences
Australian laws have made pool fencing a requirement. Each pool fence installed by Modern Glass Design is custom measured to comply with Australian standards. The glass is 12mm toughened safety glass and is polished on all edges.
The spigots used are duplex 2205 stainless steel which offers excellent corrosion resistance. We also use an award winning hinge to complete the overall look and functionality.

Australian laws have made pool fencing a requirement. Each pool fence installed by Modern Glass Design is custom measured to comply with Australian standards AS1288-2006 and as/nz 2208. The glass is 12mm toughened and polished on all edges. The spigots used are duplex 2205 stainless steel which offers excellent corrosion resistance. We also use an award winning hinge to complete the overall look and functionality.
Shower Screens
Using our experience, we work with you to design a frameless glass shower screen that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Every shower screen we install is custom measured to suit your space.
All glass is manufactured in Australia in accordance with AS/NZ 2208 and all of the hardware is of the highest quality available.

Balustrades
A frameless glass balustrade is the perfect way to view the outside world. No matter what your location, you can choose to have an unobstructed view from the inside out, or add privacy with an opaque (matelux) glass, while still enjoying the amount of light you would from a clear glass.
In addition to the glass, a fully welded and polished stainless steel handrail is added to compliment the glass while complying with Australian Standards AS1288-2006
Balustrades
A frameless glass balustrade is the perfect way to view the outside world. No matter what your location, you can choose to have an unobstructed view from the inside out, or add privacy with an opaque (matelux) glass, while still enjoying the amount of light you would from a clear glass.

A splashback is a great way to enhance any kitchen or bathroom. Splashbacks are offered in any colour, including metallic and mirror finish. Use it to create an impressive space to suit your style. Glass splashbacks greatly reduce cleaning time and limit grime and mold build up that can be experienced with tile grout.
Mirrors can help make a room appear bigger by adding depth and reflecting light. Adding the right mirror, whether a vanity or mirrored wall, will give the room class and sophistication.
